How to Install and Style Custom Floating Shelves

Thank you for purchasing your Custom Floating Shelves or Mantle! I used to provide a printout with all the detailed instructions, but the reality is, they are so easy to install and now that we live in a virtual world, I figured I would just show you!

Tools Used:
Drill with Robertson Bit
3” Screws for mounting brace to studs
1.5” Screws to fasten shelf/mantle to brace
PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING:
This tutorial does not show the final step of attaching/achoring the shelf to the wall-mount bracket. In your hardware bag, you’ll find 1.5” screws. These are used to secure the shelf to the bracket once it is installed. You can fasten the screws from the top down - or bottom up - whichever is more discreet based on the height of your shelf on the wall.
IMPORTANT: The wall-mount bracket extends 1.5” from the wall, so be sure to fasten your screw within that depth to properly catch the bracket.
